"Your presentation was fantastic - informative, fun and engaging which is a huge feat for a topic that has the potential to be quite heavy. My class had nothing but great feedback. By far the best presentation we've had this year!"
-Natalie, Teacher in Surrey
"Tiana gave the organization I work for a great presentation regarding youth who are sexually exploited. This presentation was informative, relevant and used current information that we were able to apply to our everyday Youth care practice! Tiana handled the sensitive topic around Sexual Exploitation in a highly professional and youth centred way. "
- Michael, Youth Safe House Manager in East Vancouver
"Tiana is an amazing communicator and inspiring speaker. I am inspired by her passion and appreciative of her knowledge around exploitation and trafficking. Tiana brought a well rounded presentation that provided new ideas and information to a mixed audience, those who work at the prevention stage and those working with victims. As a community victim support worker I am cognizant of the many layers to the issue of exploitation and was very impressed by Tiana's ability to take those layers and make them visible. She provides reliable and concrete direction for front line workers, teachers and community stakeholders and would be a most valuable asset for agencies who are looking to provide updated information, education and training on sexual exploitation. "
- Brenda, Support Worker with the Counter Exploitation Unit (VPD)
"I was pleased with the approach Tiana used when she met with the parents at our school: she was able to create a welcoming and open space that quickly put people at ease. I was most impressed by the respectful way she accepted questions and comments after her presentation. The feedback I received was all positive."
- Jeff, Elementary School Principal in Sunshine Coast
"I personally loved the combination of expertise, knowledge, and genuine sincerity of our presenter, Tiana. She really connected well with the students, and her interactive format was impactful. Every single student said the presentation was useful and would recommend it for next year's class."
-Social Justice Teacher, Delta
"The fact that you tailored the presentations to our groups in Bella Bella is one of the reasons your visit was so successful.
We found the workshop for staff and front line workers particularly helpful this year. It was an opportunity to meeting with all the staff and discuss problems that we all have and all worry about, this time of training gives us a chance to focus and work as a team. Thank you again for all your support."
-Cindy, Youth Coordinator and Community Wellness Team Leader
"Learning the legal process was extremely helpful. The pace at which the presentation moved and the information given was extremely captivating and enlightening. This knowledge is so important and I am so grateful that you do what you do!"
-Youth Worker, Sources BC
"Your friendly demeanour and presentation style was very effective in getting the info across to our students. Engaging speaker and inclusive of all student opinions. The topics were relevant to our school and student issues."

Social Justice Teacher, Delta
"The presenter was engaging, knowledgeable, and used great content. Learning about real life cases are very helpful. Loved it!"
-Youth Worker, SourcesBC
"The sexual exploitation training we asked Tiana to deliver to our social work participants was exactly what we were looking for and even customized to our needs. Tiana was easy to work with and her professionalism and experience were on point throughout the training. The training focused on sexually exploited children and youth with a comprehensive review of recruitment tactics, current examples of online platforms, a review of a variety of cases. Tiana also provided a detailed review of what makes children and youth vulnerable, the physical and behavioral indicators, and the challenges to exiting. Tiana also reviewed the various legislation under the Criminal Code of Canada and the Child and Family Community Services Act relevant to social work practice. Finally, our participants were left with resources to share in regards to reporting. Tiana was generous with her time and knowledge during the question and answer period. We would definitely ask her to come and share again in the future!"
-Colleen, Associate Director at Indigenous Perspectives Society
"The team found it very informative and they all really enjoyed it. Personally, I really appreciated the balance between stories/ case scenarios as well as using theory and practice such as the Maslow's hierarchy of needs. It really brought the topic to light and I think helped individuals really look at how they can better their practice with youth to help prevent sexual exploitation. Your questions at the end also really helped our team discuss ways our practice can improve and what we are doing well.
Thank you - I will most definitely be recommending you for future presentations!"
