Sexual Exploitation Education (SEE) is a prevention focused agency that provides innovative, engaging, and accessible presentations, trainings, and consulting services to schools, organizations, and businesses across Canada. Our mission is to prevent sexual exploitation and human trafficking by focusing on root causes that contribute to sexual exploitation. Using humor and multimedia, we make this issue relatable to all. Our approach has been featured in media outlets such as CBC news, Global News, and local Newspapers.
Our team of experts are passionate about sharing their knowledge and raising awareness about this important issue. We believe that everyone has a role in preventing sexual exploitation, and we are committed to working with individuals, organizations, and communities to create safer environments for all.
Since its inception, SEE has been a leading agency in this field, being called upon for research, pro-d keynotes, international conference presentations, nation-wide law enforcement trainings, and non profit consulting.
SEE is also proud to introduce the very first prevention education app, the SEE-App!
We are now programs under Exploitation Education Institute!
As a response to the ever growing demand for SEE's programs, and the expansion and introduction to further programs, we expanded into The Exploitation Education Institute (ExEd). Sexual Exploitation Education (SEE) is now our educational programs, while we continue to offer more unique programs, education, and resources.
Using her experience and expertise, Tiana felt that there were many gaps in service on this issue and developed SEE to provide a dynamic approach to these gaps.
Tiana aims to reduce sexual exploitation within communities across BC and Canada, and to bring this issue into the forefront of the minds of the general public. Aligned with her vision, SEE's programs are the first in Canada to address this topic by focusing specifically on the root issues versus simply providing surface level information. She believes that prevention programs must avoid a 'doom and gloom' approach, because no one can feel empowered if they feel hopeless or overwhelmed!
In order to provide a holistic approach, Tiana has been the first in the field to provide presentation "packages", where school districts receive more than just a one time presentation.
As a professional, and as a mother herself, Tiana has dedicated her life to fighting against the sexual exploitation and human trafficking of children and youth. She believes that children need to be our priority.
As an international expert, Tiana has been invited to, and has presented at, the following conferences:
