About Us

Our Founder: Tiana Sharifi

A Canadian expert in the field of anti-human trafficking and sexual exploitation, and a finalist for BC Business' "Women of the Year", Tiana Sharifi strives to accomplish true change in the safety of our children and youth through education and awareness initiatives and services.

With her educational background in Psychology and Counselling, Tiana's career has revolved around working in both frontline and prevention with sexual exploitation and human trafficking across BC. She has managed province wide prevention programs, as well as trained and managed staff with educational presentations and in handling disclosures. She has presented to thousands of students, parents, and social service providers in group bookings and at training events. In addition to the above, Tiana has managed disclosures, provided one on one case management, and managed province wide crisis line platforms.

To address the gaps in services and provide a dynamic approach, Tiana created SEE to encourage social awareness, change, and inter-agency collaborations. Tiana is not just an experienced "presenter", she is also one of few experts in this field in BC.
